"Free Gift"
"Neither is there salvation
in any other name
under Heaven given among men, whereby we
must be saved." Acts 4:12
WHY ACTS 4:12 ?
A man who believes is the only way to
receive salvation through
JESUS CHRIST, the Son of GOD. As Christians it is our
responsibility to tell others about the salvation that God so
freely offers.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SAVED ?
Saved.....From What you might ask ? To be
saved means that you have accepted JESUS CHRIST as your personal savior, and
made him LORD of your life. In doing this you have been saved from an eternity
in Hell, separated from GOD.
HOW DO I GET SAVED ?
Getting saved and becoming a real
Christian is as easy as accepting a FREE GIFT.
It is yours for the taking.
First:
You must admit you are a sinner. Romans
3:23 says "For all
have sinned and come short of the Glory of GOD". The good news
is that Romans 5:8 says "But GOD commendeth his love towards us
in that, while we were yet sinners CHRIST died for us.
Second:
You must believe that JESUS CHRIST is the Son of GOD
that he came to earth and died on the
cross for your sins and rose
again on the third day. John 3:16 says "For GOD so loved the world
that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have Everlasting Life". Romans 6:3 says "For the
wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is Eternal Life through JESUS CHRIST
our LORD". You must confess JESUS as your LORD and personal Savior,
inviting him into your Heart.
Third:
Romans 10:9 says "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord JESUS
CHRIST, and believe in your heart that GOD raised him from the dead, YOU SHALL
BE SAVED.
Maybe your life has come to a crossroads of despair, or you have hit rock bottom
in your business, marriage, or family life. Maybe you are on top of the world
with no where to go. That empty feeling that you have inside is your need for
JESUS. Simply pray this prayer...." Dear JESUS, I know that I am a sinner
and that you came to earth and died on the cross for my sins. Please come into
my life and cleanse me from all my sins, be My LORD and my GOD. Thank you JESUS
for saving me. Amen.
